Fuse Green - Creative Director, Artist - Brooklyn, NY

Fuse Green is an American contemporary artist, graphic designer, and creative director based in Brooklyn, NY. His unique style is often described as bold, humorous, and deeply influenced by the soul of the Black experience and Afrofuturism. Having worked with prominent artists like DJ Drama, Lil' John & The Chronicle, Donnie, Sol Messiah, and The Funk Jazz Cafe during the 90s, Fuse played a pivotal role in Atlanta's subculture renaissance and was instrumental in the launch of Frank 151 Magazine in 1998 and served as it’s first art director. Subsequently, he worked as an art director for Nomenudum, an Atlanta-based creative agency, contributing to national advertising campaigns for Coca-Cola, Sprite, Minute Maid, and Lugz.

In 1999, Fuse's talent caught the attention of Marc Ecko, leading to his recruitment as an art director and designer for Ecko Unlimited in New York City. This opportunity opened doors for him to create artwork for other prominent brands such as PNB Nation, Akademiks, Scion, and Ride Snowboards to name a few. In 2003, he founded the brand Wheat Bread Life, acting as a hub for his print, design projects, and apparel ventures. Notably, Fuse became the featured artist to help launch Al Gore's Current TV in 2005, with his design of the network's animated mascot "VC2" featured in a video short. Additionally, he became a collaborator as part of the weekly DJ/Artist duo behind the late Melvin Van Peebles' Off-Broadway play "Ain't Supposed To Die A Natural Death." Fuse also served as a senior designer for Jay Z's Rocawear Brand and collaborated on projects with figures like Spike Lee, 9th Wonder, Staple, Undefeated, J Period, JBL, and Wu-Tang Brand.

Fuse worked in collaboration with Nike and Brand Jordan as the featured artist & designer for their 2013 Black History Month Collection (BHM). Furthermore, Fuse's unique illustration style graced album covers for legendary Hip Hop artists such as Pete Rock, DJ Spinna, and Yasin Bey. His recent endeavors include designing Maroon 5's world tour merchandise he worked as the creative director for Spike Lee's brand "Spike's Joint" from 2020 to 2023, showcasing his multifaceted expertise.

His contribution to contemporary street culture and design have been significant, and he continually pushes creative boundaries as a seasoned creative director, designer, and artist. Currently, his studio is immersed in several exciting projects, including a new poster series and a coffee table book chronicling his 32-year creative career.
